    Dear Lovestar,

Sapho is the poetess of poetesses. I wrote a love poem for her to honor her since she is famous for writing love poems for women.

Sappho is said to have inspired the term lesbian because she was from the island of Lesbos and wrote poems for other ladies. She also wrote for men and there is not much history.

    Dear Lovestar,

On this post, I will share all my personal magick, spellcasting tools.

I recently joined Woo Wednesday, an amazing X community to talk about where are the witches at? They meet once a month and it was such a healing and blessed space.

Listen to the recording in which I also spoke of my spiritual experiences

I made friends with the host, who I met on Poetry Lights, her poetry reading group, another blessed space which I join every Tuesday.

Our last Poetry lights meeting where amazing poetry is read. I read Interdimensional Travel” and my new “Poetry Lights” poem.

Talking to the host, Vennie, an amazing poetess witch, I told her about my new spellcasting journey, which is a new development, yet, was spirit led. Vennie decided to have spellcaating as the topic for the next Woo Wednesday and I am gathering all my spellcasting tools on this post so I can be prepared and read from here.

Secret Twin Flame Sex Magic, Spirit Work, and Kinky Poetry. Aphrodite, Venus, & Lillith

    Dear Lovestar,

I tried to make this post private, and password protected but my computer skills are limited, so you get to read it. I will learn, though. Do not be offended, please, when you notice password protected posts consisting of my sex journal. This is private stuff so it cannot be openly available.

This Lillith poem was inspired by a podcast by the Middle Age Witch podcast, I linked it below.

I shared this beautiful poem on X, then added a secret third stanza for my lover who likes kinky poetry

This just happened, and thus, the third stanza doesn’t have rhyme or rhythm. This was not for the poetics. It’s for the meaning.

It’s the Lion’s Gate fault! I wish I could stop time. if it was the Lion’s Gate every day of the year, I’d always be this sassy.

I got so many divine messages for divine spirit work to complete (That is the upgrade this year, full on magic work with spirits, I am graduating into a witch lol), and I’ve been divinely guided into goddess work and, for some reason, shadow work leading to Lillith. It was Scorpio, my lover, who suggested that sex is a way to work the shadows, yes, Scorpio would say that. However, for me, miss Pisces, bound by church as a girl, sex play is a big shadow for me.

It could be that Lillith wants a poem; I will write some. The lady on the middle-aged witch podcast said that Lillith came to her when she was ready, that Lillith would only work with people who are ready to be unapologetically themselves, and I have in fact grown in this way. I don’t post this to X, actually, too many normal people, but I dip my toes. Maybe that is the sign, once I am more open on X (or Facebook, where my family is, I entered Pagan on my FB bio). Find me on FB as Eve Sanchez but I mostly post on Spanish.

I was listening on the Middle-Aged witch podcast (I love that podcast) that Lillith loves an orgasm as an offering, and I’m wondering if she would be willing to communicate with me for some poetry creations using some sex magic.

I work with Venus – Aphrodite

Venus is the Roman name for the Greek Aphrodite, and they are the same goddess. Below, I will share some of my poetry for her and one day I will tell you of my work with her. I have been working with her for months. Later, I will tell you how you can work with Aphrodite – Venus, too.

This poem talks of the cause of the Troyan war, when Aphrodite offered Paris the most beautiful woman in the world, the married queen Helen (long story).

I have actually communicated with Venus Aphrodite, and I loved our interactions. I have a plan to ask a thing from my friend Aphrodite, just need to find the right offering for her. The poem below is of a convo with Dite, she expressed that men can’t forget (in my word play) the orgasms they give their lady. This is a drug you’re providing for your man.

We wrote several poems together, Aphrodite – Venus and I. The below poem talks of a historical poem I read while studying Latin. This event was a yearly Venus festival. Tips for Venus work from her ancient festival: get nude, dancing barefoot, also beauty is an offering. Oh, and Bacchus (Dionysus in Greek pantheon) always leads to Aphrodite. This was the ancient way: parties and drinking (the ancients also put drugs in their drinks, though I am not telling you to do this) always lead to the Aphrodite work which is sex. They had sex cults; we have a cult of 2. ok I will have to tell you more.

I jokingly told my man I was going to sacrifice him to the goddess, put him on my Aphrodite altar. The sign in that is that the orgasm offering is well received by her. Oh, I certainly invoke her into our bedroom play. I am indeed ok with a spirit third party; I can share with the goddess.

This love spell was inspired by Roman Love magic, something I will continue to research and write about. The Romans didn’t believe in twin flames, but the Greeks did. But the romans were so afraid of Love magic that they made forms of it illegal.

Indeed, knot magic has always been used for love, sex, and fidelity magic (Read about knot magic on my blog and purchase my $1 ebook on Etsy to start practicing knot magick today) PS. I have used knot magic with Venus, for sex magic, twin flame magic with my Scorpio lover’s permission, for an offering to the fae, for personal empowerment, for sexual freedom…) Knot Magic Ebook linked below:

Ebook introducing knot magic with history, ideas, mantras, and more

I have to tell you, my sex life with my beloved Scorpio exploded after my communications with the goddess. Why? Because I became more open as I realized that sex magic attracts the sex goddess, and she loosened me up a bit.

This poem explains it best. I call the goddess into my space, I connect to Love, then he connects to me. This is sex magic and bringing a very sexy spirit into our bed for play. You wonder if Scorpio has an issue with this? lol Scorpio lives to connect to a mysterious feminine essence, he needs this, he is hooked. He has been looking for the goddess, he didn’t realize it like that, but he has been working with her, is what she said to me.

I guess my next magic ebook will be about sex magic, but sorry, I will not be selling it for $1! These are my secrets, and anyone interested will have to pay up! My mouth is starting to part to tell my secrets but they will not be widely available.

    Why the threesome theme?

My darling Scorpio is a very hot guy, and he gets chased by women on top of the obvious, if one tastes him, can’t forget the guy, has to come back on her knees. He kind of hides from women in the way I hide from men, except that I believe he gets a kick out of it, he is not afraid of being held down by a woman…

Being a Scorpio, he wants a very, extremely loyal woman, and he gets hurt by lack of loyalty. Thus, his lineup of exes have in fact hurt him deeply.

I don’t have to tell you that he’s extremely sexual and great in bed. That’s obvious. His exes are constantly trying to connect to him in this way and I had to tell him to get those cords under control because they bother me, the feeler of everything. I have been cutting the chords to his pesky exes, energy vampires, who regret having lost him. They’re the third parties in our union, the ghosts of girlfriends’ past. His heartbreak over those bad girls has stopped our union growth.

He’s honest and open, so he tells me about the threesomes he declined 😆 🤣 😂

I was very young and sexually inexperienced when I met him, and I had never met a sincere man, so I freaked out wondering if that most gorgeous man would dare ask me to do something like that.

Upon my experience recognizing his soul as my boyfriend (I was 20), I decided I was going to be the woman to fulfill all his sexual needs (he manifested that, also), however, I was too shy to say anything. Once I heard the word threesome, I was shocked in disbelief and chose to not please his secret desires.

This happened in our usual misunderstanding type of way.

But how lucky am I that my man is so honest and straightforward? After years of holding back my sexual gratification, we talked about this and he has no intention of putting me in a difficult position and he is very grounded in his feeling for one partner. Yay

But how lucky if he had another me? Even three! Lol

The problem with threesomes is that they are cultural and a man who wasn’t pervy enough to lead women into those questionable encounters, can feel like they missed out. A good man like mine knows they didn’t miss on anything good. And a woman like me is unafraid to play tricks on my man’s mind. Lol

After Scorpio expressed that he wanted 2 mes, I needed years to integrate that. After a lot of self growth I told him one of my naughtiest best dreams ever, a dream in which I saw about 12 hims, one after another after another kept coming and I was simply amazed. Nothing sexual happened, I just basked in their energy but Scorpio got so excited and he expressed it would have been much different had he been the dreamer. And now I am telling you how I have finally injected a sense of fantasy into my sex life. He dreams about threesomes? Good, you can have two mes or you can have me and my goddess.

  • The History of Knot Magic: Unraveling the Mysteries of an Ancient Practice and Modern Mantras

The History of Knot Magic: Unraveling the Mysteries of an Ancient Practice and Modern Mantras

    Dear Lovestar,

Let’s mix ancient magic with modern spirituality. ✨️

Knot magic, a practice rich in symbolism and tradition, has intrigued scholars and practitioners alike for centuries. While the exact origins of knot magic are difficult to pinpoint with precision, we can trace its historical roots through various cultures and practices. This article delves into the known history of knot magic, exploring its ancient origins and evolution through time. Then I’ll give you tips for a modern knot magic practice that is powerful and fashionable.

    Ancient Origins and Cultural Significance

Knot magic is an ancient practice found in diverse cultures, each adding its unique twist to the art of tying knots with intent. Here’s what we know about its historical development:

    1. Prehistoric Roots:
Evidence suggests that the practice of knotting dates back to prehistoric times. Archaeological finds, such as knotted cords and textiles, indicate that early humans used knots for practical purposes, such as securing items or recording information. Over time, these practical knots evolved into symbolic and magical practices.
    2. Ancient Egypt:
In ancient Egypt, knot magic played a significant role in rituals and protective charms. The “knot of Isis,” a symbol often depicted in Egyptian art, was believed to offer protection and healing. This knot, also known as the “Isis knot” or “tyet,” was often used in amulets and talismans to invoke the goddess Isis’s power.
    3. Greek and Roman Traditions:
Knot magic also appeared in ancient Greek and Roman practices. The Greeks used knots in various rituals, including those related to love and binding spells. Roman magicians and practitioners of folk magic often employed knots in their rites, with specific knots symbolizing different deities or intentions.
    4. Native American Practices:
Indigenous cultures across the Americas have long incorporated knot magic into their spiritual practices. The use of knotted cords, such as the Inca khipus, was a sophisticated method of record-keeping and communication. These knotted strings were believed to hold sacred knowledge and were used in ceremonial contexts.
    5. Medieval Europe:
During the medieval period, knot magic was integrated into European folk practices and witchcraft. Knots were used in spells and charms to influence outcomes, protect against malevolent forces, or bind and unbind love and relationships. The symbolism of knots continued to evolve, often blending with local folklore and magical traditions.

    The Evolution of Knot Magic

Throughout history, knot magic has adapted to changing cultural contexts and spiritual practices. Here are some key points in its evolution:

    • Ritualistic Use: Knot magic has been employed in various rituals, from protection spells to fertility rites. Each culture has adapted the practice to fit its spiritual beliefs and needs.
    • Symbolic Meanings: The meanings associated with specific knots have varied. In some traditions, knots symbolize binding and unbinding, while in others, they represent unity, protection, or the cyclical nature of life.
    • Modern Revival: In contemporary times, knot magic has experienced a revival within modern spiritual practices. Practitioners integrate it into personal rituals, using knots to manifest intentions and connect with ancient traditions. Modern interpretations often combine traditional knot magic with new-age practices, creating a fusion of the old and the new.

    Conclusion

Knot magic, with its rich history, offers a glimpse into the spiritual and practical lives of our ancestors. From ancient Egypt to medieval Europe and beyond, the practice of tying knots with intention has been a significant part of human spirituality. As we continue to explore and reinterpret these ancient practices, knot magic remains a powerful tool for connecting with the sacred and manifesting our desires.

Thank you for joining us on this historical journey through knot magic. May this knowledge enrich your understanding and appreciation of this timeless art.

Please tell me if you have practiced knot magic.

    Modern Mantras

Here are eight rhyming mantras focused on feminine power and releasing negativity:

    1. “With grace, I rise, my spirit flies, releasing fears and casting ties.”

    2. “Embracing strength, my heart’s pure light, I shed the shadows, shine so bright.”

    3. “In my power, I find peace, all negativity I release.”

    4. “Goddess within, my soul’s delight, I banish doubts with light and claim my might.”

    5. “With each breath, I let go, reclaiming strength in every flow.”

    6. “Feminine fire, strong and true, I release the past and start anew.”

    7. “I am whole, I am free, negativity fades, leaving only me.”

    8. “Through my essence, I transcend, embracing power, my fears amend.”

These mantras can serve as affirmations to enhance self-empowerment and promote a positive mindset. These mantras will then aid the manifestation of union.

Here are some garments and ideas for incorporating knot magick into crafts and personal adornments:

Mermaid Tie Necklaces. I remove this one, I’ll set an intention depending on the need. Crafted on 8/8
Twin anklets tied on Lion’s Gate with intention of extending the Lion’s gate energy and, of course, twin flame union. The other anklet tied months ago.
Mermaid tie twin anklets and necklaces crafted 8/8
I have two of these necklaces that I’ve been wearing for a while. I tie those with a sexy intention (they are part of my mermaid collection of lingerie). This necklace I tied while setting a simple intention of beauty. Crafted on 8/8.
    1. Tie Necklaces: Create necklaces you can tie or with knots as focal points, using cord, thread, or leather. Incorporate charms or crystals for added intention.
    2. Braided Belts: Use braided belts to symbolize strength and unity. Knots and braids can be infused with personal or magical significance.
    3. Knot Bracelets: Craft bracelets with knots to represent binding spells or personal empowerment. Choose colors and materials that resonate with your intention.
    4. Hair Braids: Braid hair with intentional knots or ribbons to signify personal goals, protection, or connection with spiritual energy. Or set the intention while braiding the hair.
    5. Knot Tapestries: Create wall hangings or tapestries with intricate knot designs, infusing them with intention for protection or harmony.
    6. Embroidered Symbols: Use knotting techniques in embroidery to create protective symbols or spells on garments.
    7. Decorative Scarves: Tie scarves with specific knots for symbolic meanings, such as protection or attraction.
    8. Pouches and Bags: Sew or knot small pouches for carrying magical items or talismans. These can be worn or carried as a form of protection or empowerment.
    9. Those cute cut and tied tops: making one out of a t-shirt while setting an intention would be cool.
    10. An apron: it’s not popular, but I wear one. From now on, I’ll set the intention of finishing the task I’m working on fast and accurately.
    11. A tied headband, any outfits with a tie feature, those sweet knotted blankets etc.

Each of these ideas allows for personal expression while integrating the symbolism and intention behind knot magick.

  • Lion’s Gate (8/8) Rituals for Feminine Energy and Union. Knot Magia

Lion’s Gate (8/8) Rituals for Feminine Energy and Union. Knot Magia

    Dear Lovestar,

Magia is the Latin (and also Spanish) word for magic.

    Knot Magick

Mermaid Tie Necklaces and Anklets for Knot Magia
Video of me tying the twin anklets and notice that I have an old one on my left ankle. I said a twin flame union mantra and a Lion’s Gate power mantra. I never take the old one off. The twin ones will remain until they break or next 8/8

What is Knot Magic and How It’s Done

Knot magic, also known as knot magick, is a form of spellcraft that involves using knots in cords, ribbons, or other materials to manifest intentions and desires. This practice leverages the symbolic power of knots to bind, release, or amplify energy in a focused and tangible way.

    Understanding Knot Magic

Knot magic works on the principle that tying a knot can symbolize the binding of energy or intentions. The process involves infusing a cord or string with a specific intention or desire, and the act of tying the knots is believed to crystallize that intention. Each knot can represent a different aspect of the spell, such as a particular goal or outcome.

    How to Perform Knot Magic

    1. Choose Your Material:
Select a cord, ribbon, or string. The color and material can be significant, depending on the intention. For example, red might be used for passion or courage, while green could symbolize growth or prosperity.

    2. Set Your Intention:
Clearly define what you want to achieve. Your intention should be specific and positive. Whether it’s love, protection, or personal growth, being clear about your goal is crucial.

    3. Focus and Infuse Energy:
Hold the cord in your hands and concentrate on your intention. Visualize your goal coming to fruition as you channel your energy into the material. This step is essential for imbuing the knot with your desired outcome.

    4. Tie the Knots:
As you tie each knot, focus on your intention for that specific knot. You might tie one knot for each aspect of your desire or goal. For example, if you’re working on manifesting love, you might tie a knot for attraction, another for harmony, and a third for communication.

    5. Seal the Spell:
Once you’ve tied all the knots, you can use a ritual or affirmation to seal your spell. This could be a spoken affirmation, a prayer, or simply a moment of gratitude and intention.

    6. Use or Display Your Knot Magic:
Keep the cord with you, place it on an altar, or hang it somewhere significant. Its presence will act as a constant reminder and reinforcement of your intention. I like to wear mine.

Knot magic is a versatile and accessible form of spellcraft that can be adapted to various needs and intentions. By focusing your energy through the act of tying knots, you create a tangible and personal tool to help manifest your desires and goals.

Repeat a mantra or affirmation while you tie each knot.

    Sample mantras

    Divine Feminine Connection
“As I tie this sacred knot, I honor the Divine Feminine’s grace, embracing the wisdom and love that guide my sacred space.”

  • How to flirt like a poet. Turning Conversations into Flirting: A Guide to Subtle and Effective Interaction with hot examples

How to flirt like a poet. Turning Conversations into Flirting: A Guide to Subtle and Effective Interaction with hot examples

    Dear Lovestar,

I hate flirting. However, I’m a huge flirt when I’m around my man, my most beloved, Scorpio.

I have become extremely good at flirting with him and getting the desired results. I will probably write a book about how to flirt.

I am collecting all my dating advice

Flirting doesn’t always have to involve grand gestures or rehearsed lines. Often, it’s about weaving a touch of charm and playfulness into everyday conversations. Here’s a guide to transforming your interactions into flirtatious exchanges that feel natural and engaging.

    1. Start with Genuine Interest

Authentic curiosity about your partner’s interests, experiences, and passions sets the stage for effective flirting. Ask open-ended questions about their hobbies, recent achievements, or dreams. For instance, if they mention a recent trip, ask, “What was the most exciting part of your trip? I’d love to hear more about it.” This not only shows that you’re attentive but also creates an opportunity for playful banter based on their responses.

    2. Use Light Teasing

Playful teasing can be a fun way to flirt if done with care. It’s about striking the right balance between humor and affection. For example, if they boast about their cooking skills, you might say, “Oh, I’m intrigued! Are you sure you’re not trying to impress me with your secret recipe?” This kind of teasing can build rapport and keep the conversation lively.

    3. Employ Compliments Wisely

Compliments are a powerful tool in flirting, but they should feel sincere and specific. Instead of generic praise, focus on unique aspects that you genuinely appreciate. If they’re wearing a striking accessory, say, “That necklace is stunning. It really complements your style. Is there a special story behind it?” Tailoring your compliments to their personality or achievements adds a personal touch.

    4. Incorporate Playful Challenges

Introducing a light-hearted challenge can inject flirtation into the conversation. For example, “I’m on a mission to find the best [type of food] in town. Care to join me on this culinary adventure and see if we can find a winner together?” This approach not only creates an opportunity for further interaction but also adds an element of fun.

    5. Use Humor to Your Advantage

Humor is an excellent way to make flirting feel natural. Share a funny anecdote or playfully exaggerate a mundane experience. For example, “I tried baking last weekend and ended up with what can only be described as ‘artistic’ bread. Do you have any baking disasters to share?” Humor can break the ice and make the conversation more enjoyable.

    6. Create a Sense of Mystery

Subtly introducing a sense of mystery can be intriguing. Instead of revealing everything about yourself immediately, share snippets and invite curiosity. For instance, “I’ve always had this quirky little hobby that not many people know about. Maybe I’ll share it if you’re lucky!” This piques interest and keeps the conversation engaging

    7. Respond with Enthusiasm

When your partner shares something about themselves, respond with genuine enthusiasm. Showing excitement about their stories or interests can be very flattering. For example, “Wow, that’s amazing! I’ve always admired people who can [do something impressive]. You’re really inspiring!”

    8. Use Body Language

Flirting isn’t just about words; body language plays a crucial role. Maintain eye contact, smile warmly, and use subtle gestures like leaning in slightly or nodding encouragingly. These non-verbal cues can convey interest and attraction without the need for explicit statements.

    9. Balance the Conversation

While it’s important to show interest in your partner, balancing the conversation by sharing a bit about yourself can make the interaction feel reciprocal. For example, if they talk about their love for hiking, you might respond with, “I’ve always wanted to try hiking. What’s your favorite trail? Maybe I could join you sometime.”

    10. Gauge Their Reactions

Pay attention to your partner’s responses and body language. If they seem engaged and reciprocate your playful banter, you’re on the right track. If they seem uncomfortable or disinterested, it’s important to respect their boundaries and adjust your approach.

    Conclusion

Turning conversations into flirtatious exchanges involves blending genuine interest, playful teasing, and thoughtful compliments. By integrating these elements into your interactions, you create a dynamic and engaging dialogue that can spark romance and deepen your connection. Remember, the key to successful flirting is authenticity and respect—always approach with a genuine desire to connect and enjoy the process.

I think some have no idea how to flirt or are using their “flirting skill” so wrong,

    I thought myself…

    I will help you 😆 🤣 😂

You will see more like this very soon,

My first song! I turned my favorite poem into a song. Come listen to my best creation yet.

    Dear Lovestar,

I wrote my first song! It has been the highlight of my writing career (since yesterday) and I’m very excited to share this work with you.

“Interdimensional Travel” spoken song by Eve Lovestar

I am looking for a different type of creative who could help me sing the song and/or add music to this song. I am a total beginner in that arena. And I want the finished work to be perfect, so I can’t do it by myself. Are you a musician or singer? Would you like to sing my song? Please, if you do, let me know. You can leave me a comment or talk to me on my poetry collection site. The link is below: we can email privately through my poetry collection app.

  • “In my heart,” my best poem ever! Pisces poetry

“In my heart,” my best poem ever! Pisces poetry

    Dear Lovestar,

It’s Pisces season, and I’m inspired, so a great poem was born. This poem might have just become my new favorite. I had earlier today chosen a favorite poem, “Interdimensional Travel,” and now it has lost its spot! But it’s a wonderful thing! It means I’m flowing not just with filler poetry, I’m overflowing with good poetry. Enough to make any poet smile.

    In my heart

    "In my heart"

    In my heart
    There are mountains,
    There are valleys,
    There are deserts.

    In my heart
    Are dimensions
    Both of measure
    And my ghost.

    You arrived at my heart
    And you made yourself king.
    Now I dream to forever
    Be yours.

    Eve Lovestar

If I were married, I’d say:
    With a ring
    And a rock.

Or use home if king is not preferred.

    Are you inspired too?

    With much excitement,

I wrote my first song today, and my best poem 😌 ✨️ 💓

    Eve, loving the Pisces energy

The naughty poetry I will not get Christmas presents for

    Dear reader,

If you like poetry, especially the sexy kind, I found the mother lode, and I’m honored to flow these energies to you.

People coming through this blog really love the poetry. I need the journal, but I love the poetry most, so I’m happy it’s this way.

Hello, I am Pisces, and being organized is not one of my gifts. I lose lots of my poems, and I don’t remember them. I always dreamt of collecting all my poetry, but some might be lost for good. I admit, not all my poetry is great, especially the old ones. I’m not going to publish the bad ones, and I might pull ones I don’t resonate with anymore.

    My poetry portfolio

There are only galleries there and nothing else so far. The public union journal link is to this blog

Portfolio is such a formal word that it doesn’t describe the fun energies of my poetry. Rather, I am creating a collection of my poetry mostly for me. However, I found a really fun way to share these poems, and this is an invitation to join.

    http://wix.to/duCowXa?ref=cl

    Who should join

Join only if you’re a true fan of this blog and if you’re a true fan of poetry. Reminder that this is only my poetry, so join only if you like my poetry.

Join if you’re a romantic, a lover, a twin flame, or how I like to call people like me a Lovestar.

Join if you need inspiration in love.

Join if you’re open-minded because there will only be my art on here, and not everyone agrees with me.

Join if you mix spirituality and love.

    Of course, it’s totally free.

    http://wix.to/duCowXa?ref=cl

Why join rather than read the blog?

The poetry collection is available through an app. This is just wonderful for me, and I know it’ll not be for everyone, but if you would like to open an app on your phone and connect with my poetry, then it’s for you.

The app has poetry and not these blog posts. It’s my love art

There’s a secret topic on there with some new art that’s being born as we speak

The entire catalog of poetry will be available and separated by topics such as love poetry, sex poetry, inspirational poetry, spiritual poetry, Spanish poetry, Scorpio love art, a secret topic poetry, and something entirely new I’m not telling you about here…

The secret is I’m sharing my previously unpublished works… the really naughty stuff. This year, I’m certainly not getting a present from Santa! I was never going to publish these creations, but I decided my app would be for a small group of true supportes so I decided to let them indulge.

If you join, I can email you, and I’ll email you for certain to say thanks for your support, and this is the easy way now to get ahold of me.

On this app, I can also assign badges, and I just created my first badge, a Lovestar badge, which I assigned to my first supporter, who is my beloved.

This is brand new, but I hope to upload my videos to this app.

And on the dreams part. I have decided to show you the amazing lingerie I design and make by hand on this blog.

All the sensitive stuff, I’ll post there.

From this app, you can share any poem that’s not sensitive, and I have made many poems available for download totally free.

For future supporters: I will expect feedback on what kind of art you enjoy most and create that.

Finally, I really intend to connect with the other Lovestars out there, but obviously, be respectful and don’t dare hit on me or burn in hell. Sorry, but I felt that was necessary. Some idiot on my poetry creation app, Miraquill, literally commented to ask I talk to him in private and my hair or whatever. You know im totally taken and respect me as such, or my beloved will not share me with you anymore.

I really appreciate your support, and please let me know what you think.

Eve, hiding the naughtiest poetry and a lots of other stuff

The Formula for deep connection. How to thrive in Love and relationships

    Dear Lovestar,

I don’t like to tell people what to do, so I usually only talk about my experience and leave it at that, but today, I had the brightest realization. I understand the title of this post sounds click baity, yet I will give you my formula for deep connection, which promotes healing and loyalty. That was a tall promise, but I’ll deliver. Some readers have come across the secrets by themselves and don’t need this. Some readers are very confused about how to connect with the opposite sex. 🤔

  • Stage 3 of Scorpio Love: Healing through sex ascension. Lovemaking with Scorpio poetry. Pisces + Scorpio compatibility

Stage 3 of Scorpio Love: Healing through sex ascension. Lovemaking with Scorpio poetry. Pisces + Scorpio compatibility

Hello, fellow lover of a Scorpio,

I realized these posts are too much, so after Scorpio season is over, I will make them private. Enjoy for now.

It’s day 4 of Scorpio season, and not only did the temperature already drop, but the energy shifted, and guess what already got better? Did you guess the sex? Omg did you already indulge? The energy of Mars is in the air, and Mars is a sexy, powerful planet. Expect your lover to be thinking of the things they want to do with you and expect to have the energy to make magic on your bed!

I just wrote this hilarious poem for this post. The winner of his heart, I meant. Between he and I, there is no competition.

Breaking down the stages of loving a Scorpio has been so much fun, and so far, I spoke about the obsession and addiction that a Scorpio’s lover most likely will feel.

I made up these stages, and I’m not a psychologist. If you are suffering from a love addiction, please seek proper help. All I know is when a Scorpio addiction creeps in, the only solution is more Scorpio energy, and then we get more addicted… I don’t know how to break this addiction… nor do I want to…

And now, I want to speak (kind of shy by now speaking of these potent and very personal feelings but it’s Scorpio season now, so shyness aside) of the second best stage of loving a Scorpio ♏️: healing through sex ascension. I’ll leave the best for last.

Let’s talk about sex ascension with Scorpio. Read through the links below my previous 2 posts about stages 1 and 2. ♏️
Stage 1 of Scorpio love: the obsession
Stage 2 of Scorpio love: the addiction.

I’ll start this with my thinking mind, then drop into my feelings for some depth.

    What is sex?

Sex is the very natural, animalistic drive to have intercourse for most of us with the opposite sex with the instinctual purpose of reproduction. I don’t understand the drive to have sex with the same sex, I don’t judge it, I simply don’t know, and therefore, I can’t speak about it.

Sex is overrated. Animals do it, and they don’t care.

    What is ascension?

Ascension is the process of ever getting better. An upward spiral. Leaving what is holding us down behind. Forever growth. There’s a spiritual connection to God or the Universe for spiritual folk as we grow into a being who can hold more light.

Scorpio brings a different type of transformation to sex as it’s known in the modern world. This transformation is what I started to call sex ascension.

    What is sex ascension?

Scorpio will understand this term because they are transformation. Sex ascension is a term I made up to explain my experience with my beloved. It is the upward spiral of sex, it’s positive transformation after positive transformation. This is a growth mentality applied to our sexuality. It’s the forever getting better of sex. The leveling up of it. It’s a new kind of sex you didn’t know existed. You will be wondering if you just created something brand new and you will have!

Sex ascension happens when sex becomes lovemaking because you have fallen in love and accepted your partner fully. Then, lovemaking goes even deeper beyond what you thought was possible. This will be the best sex of your life but better.

This sex ascension was natural for me because I have that growth mentality anyway, but I believe you can work on it consciously, too. For Scorpio, though, I don’t think he’s consciously doing it, but I think it’s his nature, his blueprint. His highest calling is to merge with his beloved, and this is done through sex ascension, healing, and Union.

I am Pisces and lovemaking is very energetic for me, so I understand but this is an extremely subtle thing and if you’re not a feeler like an empath or us water signs, or if you’re blocked somehow, you will miss it.

The closest that others might get to this Scorpio type of lovemaking is if you have Scorpio somewhere in your chart other than your sun sign or by taking advantage of the Scorpio season because the light in this energy promotes healthy sex, a cleansing/ healing through lovemaking, union/ reunion, reconnecting if we’re strong enough to handle the intensity and the truths that inevitably come out during Scorpio season which tend to cause fights in couples, and more. I feel very shy to speak of this energy! This energy also promotes obsession and addiction, and there’s a dark side, too…

    Is lovemaking sex ascended?

Yes, but sex ascends beyond lovemaking into sex healing, sex magic… I will not be explaining all the details, but Scorpio would understand, and if you’ve been making love with a Scorpio for a long time (16 + years for me), then you will understand.

I define lovemaking as sex initiated from the heart opposite sex that initiates from instinct, which is just sex. Sex that is initiated from someone’s darkness is abuse, whether this is abuse of another or abuse of the self. Sex initiated with the purpose of connecting with the heart of one’s beloved is lovemaking. When lovemaking gets so deep that you heal or connect to a higher power during sex, that is sex ascension. Using the sexual energy for manifestation is sex magic.

How sex ascension with Scorpio heals

Scorpios are known to be healers. Their energy is healing as long as they’re not a creep (there’s good and not so good in every sign, I write about a healthy Scorpio)

Scorpios are truth tellers, so when they speak, my advice would be to listen, even though we might not like what they say because they’re certainly not nice. It’s happened to me that I thought he was mean for saying something, then realizing he was right and I was wrong. Yes; this can be applied to sexuality even though I will not explain further. Actually, a no sexual truth has already come through for me, and guess what? I have to apologize to Scorpio… ♏️ 😪 😔

It is the Scorpio sexual energy that is so healing. Scorpio’s intention, together with his healing energy, heals whatever blocks you might have. You might not even be aware of the healing being performed, but you will grow and become a new, healed person.

This healing comes in levels, first healing the obvious traumas, then dropping deeper until there’s no darkness left. Essentially, this is forever healing. Some people will not like this because to heal.this darkness, you have to feel it again, but once the “treatment ” has worked you will be renewed.

Yes, sex with Scorpio most likely will kickstart a dark night of the soul. Again, though difficult and scary, once it’s over, you will be healed, healing, and much stronger. This love is not for everyone…

What does sex ascension with Scorpio heal?

    • It can heal a broken heart
    • It will relax your body, which is healing because stress is a killer
    • It can cut cords to past lovers, leaving you energized
    • Scorpio will leave some energy with you as spy energy to protect you from other people you encounter away from them. It feels like a giant bear behind you. I have a theory that their unexplained jealousy might have to do with them picking up energetic cords attached to us by others, whether on purpose or not. This is healing because it’s protecting. For example, i had never felt safer in my life, so I’m more relaxed, open, vulnerable, I’m more me, and have much more fun
    • Scorpio can cleanse your body with his intention and his sexual energy
    • Sex magic is natural for Scorpio. With their intention, they can do what they want. If they love you, they would use this power for good, such as to claim you or imprint you to protect you. They can also impregnate us this way. This can heal traumas of neglect, not feeling loved, feeling unworthy, abandonment issues…
    • Scorpio freely gives me his power for my empowerment and protection. As a dainty Pisces, being empowered this way makes me feel secure, thus relaxed, and that is healing because I can be who I am now and I’m not afraid of getting into a fight like before.
    • This lovemaking is so powerful that it can bless your bloodline, past, present, and future.
    • Getting weird is normal for Scorpio – Pusces relationships: this kind of lovemaking can break family curses related to love and sex at the very least
    • Funny names I use for these experiences that imply healing: internal massage (he laughed so much at this one, I can feel a poem being born…) and the full treatment 😀 😄 😉
    • Scorpio will know what kind of healing you need and personalize your “treatment”
    • Please let me know in the comments what I’m missing and I’ll add it to this list

Lovemaking with Scorpio poems by a Pisces, beloved of a Scorpio.

This time, I wrote new poems for our reading pleasure

He laughed when I called it this.
I’m afraid to admit what I identify as on here. But this is my journal. But anyone can read it. But this will become private after Scorpio season. I identify as his favorite vehicle, the 1995 red convertible Lamborghini, which name I forgot.
This is actually an old piece I might delete…
Brand new piece. My thoughts have feelings, too!
Sex magic is not hot. It’s divinely pure. It makes you closer to spirit. It’s like 2 spirits making love. This reminds me of a poem I once wrote where I said that lovemaking was our way of touching each other’s souls. Deep but not in a sexual way, in an energetic, soulful way.

Thank you for visiting. Please share and tell me what you think about this topic.

This Scorpio sex series will become private after the season ends, so read and enjoy right now!

    With love and light,

Eve in love with Scorpio ♏️ 😍 💕

  • Poetic Secrets. I play a game with AI. Tell me a secret about me based on my poem. Why you’re cold now

    Dear Lovestar,

What if your own poetry could reveal your deepest secrets—even the ones you haven’t admitted to yourself? In my new monthly game with AI, Poetic Confessions, I’ll uncover the hidden truths in some of my poems. Want to play? Just read on, and let’s see if you picked up the secret in the poem…

AI tells you a secret about me based on this poem from my collection: This is Pisces Poetry – 2025

Your secret? You are someone who has experienced deep emotional pain, yet you remain resilient and self-aware.

This poem conveys a sense of quiet strength despite past heartbreak. You see the emotional coldness of others and recognize it as a defense mechanism, but you’re not one to remain passive in the face of it. Instead, you choose to be honest about your emotions, even in the face of rejection or distance, and you find power in acknowledging the truth, however painful it might be.

My advice? Continue embracing your emotional transparency. While it can feel uncomfortable to face coldness or rejection, your ability to confront and accept these feelings openly is a strength. You will attract those who can meet you in your authenticity. Keep your heart open, but stay true to yourself. 💖

What, I have no trauma! Lol

  • Romance Reads: When Two Souls Recognize Each Other

    Dear Lovestar,

She noticed him before he noticed her.

He was standing near the window, one hand resting against the frame, watching the rain fall beyond the glass. There was nothing particularly dramatic about the moment. No music. No thunder. No perfect movie scene.

And yet, something inside her became completely still.

She had never seen him before. At least, not in this life.

Her heart seemed to recognize something her mind could not explain.

He turned and their eyes met.

And for one suspended second, neither of them looked away.

He smiled first. It was a small smile, almost uncertain. She returned it. That should have been the end of it. Instead, he walked toward her.

“Have we met?” She laughed softly.

    “No.”

He looked at her for another moment.

    “That’s strange.”

    “What is?”

    “You feel familiar.”

Her smile disappeared. She was not uncomfortable because she knew exactly what he meant.

There are connections that begin with conversation and there are connections that begin with recognition.

She had spent years wondering whether the stories were true. Whether two people could somehow belong to the same spiritual story. Whether love could exist beyond timing, distance, circumstances, and all the ordinary explanations we give ourselves.

She had stopped looking for an answer when he appeared.

They talked for hours. About nothing important at first. Books. Music. Places they wanted to see. Childhood memories. The strange little habits they never told anyone about.

But underneath every ordinary sentence was something else.

    A current. A pull.

When he laughed, she wanted to remember the sound. When she spoke, he listened as though her words mattered. And when their hands accidentally touched, neither of them moved away immediately. Later, they stood outside beneath the quiet night. The rain had stopped. The air smelled like wet earth.

    He looked at her.

    “Can I tell you something?”

    She nodded.

“I feel like I’ve been looking for you.”

Her heart tightened. She looked down, suddenly afraid of how much she wanted those words to be true.

    “Maybe you have.”

He stepped closer but not enough to touch her. Just enough for her to feel his warmth.

    “Does this scare you?”

    She looked into his eyes.

    “A little.”

    “Why?”

“Because I don’t know what this is.”

    He smiled gently.

    “Neither do I.”

For once, she did not need an answer. She simply stood there with him. Two people who had lived separate lives, carried separate wounds, loved other people, lost other people, grown through years they could never get back. And somehow, here they were. At the same moment. In the same place.

Looking at each other as though the distance between them had always been temporary. He reached for her hand. Slowly. Giving her every opportunity to pull away. She didn’t.

Their fingers intertwined. And the simplest touch felt more intimate than anything she had experienced in years. She looked at their hands. Then back at him.

“Do you believe in twin flames?”

He was quiet for a moment.

    “I didn’t.”

    She smiled.

    “And now?”

He lifted her hand to his lips.

    “Now I’m not so sure.”

She laughed, but her eyes filled with tears. Because perhaps that was what recognition felt like. Not certainty. Not a promise that everything would be easy. Not some guarantee that love would never hurt. Perhaps it was simply the strange feeling of meeting someone who awakens a part of you that had been sleeping.

Someone who makes you remember yourself. Someone whose presence feels less like being discovered and more like coming home. He brushed a strand of hair away from her face. She closed her eyes. For a moment, there was no past. No future. No questions about what would happen next. Only the warmth of his hand against her cheek. Only the quiet between them. Only the feeling that somehow, impossibly, they had found each other. And perhaps that is what every woman who believes in twin flames secretly longs for, to be recognized.

To look into someone’s eyes and feel that they see the woman beneath every version of herself she has had to become. To be chosen not because she is perfect, but because something in her feels unmistakably familiar. And when two souls recognize each other, sometimes love does not arrive like a storm.

Sometimes it arrives quietly with a glance and a smile, with a hand reaching for yours. And the sudden, inexplicable feeling that you have finally met someone you were always meant to remember.

  • Life Lately: My book, baby, and emotional update

Eve’s book Goddess Songs is available on Amazon

    Dear Lovestar,

If you’ve been following my Facebook lately, you already know: life has been full. Beautiful, exhausting, hilarious, emotional, full. I wanted to sit down and put it all in one place, the way I used to, so here it is. How I’m doing, the baby updates, the feelings, and all the things I’ve been talking about.

    Baby Dylan Is Here

Baby Dylan and growing Alex, my only 2 sons. Their 4 sisters were with my mom.

The biggest news first: if you did not know yet, our family grew again. Baby Dylan arrived in early August during the Lion’s Gate portal, and I announced him to the world with the honest truth: my body had a very hard time with this experience. I was simply sleeping and eating for a while.

He turned 2 months old and I am much better now. There’s a special kind of tired that only a newborn can give you. The other day I posted what every new parent knows too well:

“Sometimes I try to put my baby to sleep and instead he puts me to sleep. Does this ever happen to you?”

Feeding him has given me a whole new comedy routine. Feeding a baby, I’ve learned, is like trying to fill a bathtub with the drain wide open. Four ounces in does not equal four ounces out, it equals twelve ounces of laundry. It’s a full-time job, a side hustle, and the reason I haven’t eaten a hot meal in ages. And yet: I am happy because I have a baby. That part is simple.

    Being a Mother, Again

People always ask me how many kids I have. I have six. Six! Also, I know it’s a lot of kids.

Volver a ser mamá es intenso. Being a mom again felt intense.

Being a mother again feels familiar and completely new at the same time. I thought I already knew motherhood, but this new chapter arrived with lessons and magic of its own. Once again, I’m learning to see the world through eyes filled with wonder and tears.

A big family brings tiredness, chaos, and hard days. But it also brings something money can’t buy: a life full of people to love.

Ser mamá no significa hacerlo todo perfectamente. Being a mom doesn’t mean doing everything perfectly. It means showing up, loving, caring, learning, and trying again every day. Each child leaves their own mark, and each one is unique. I truly believe we think we’re the ones teaching our children, but they teach us just as much.

    The Kids

Alex, my son, loves to talk about space and ask a million questions. I learn a lot watching documentaries with him. He’s also been pictured holding kittens, which brings me to our current household situation.

This week is my big girl Lizzie’s birthday. She’s bigger than me now (except for my big post-baby stomach). I’ve been feeling nostalgic and dug up a photo of her as a toddler in 2017 with her baby sister Lilli. They grow too fast, it’s a cliché because it’s true.

Fun family fact I shared recently: when Vivi was a toddler, Lilli cut her hair and we gave Vivi bangs, and we loved it so much she never wanted to get rid of them afterwards.

And the cats. Oh, the cats. There are too many feral cats around our house, and litters keep appearing in our yards. One day my daughters brought some kittens inside, and now we have several cats. My kids are completely obsessed with kittens, and we’re hoping to find loving homes for some of these darlings. If you’ve ever seen a mama cat nursing another cat’s kitten like it’s the most natural thing in the world, you know the kind of tenderness I’m talking about.

    The Book Dream Is Real

Now, the other big thing. If you’ve seen me talking a lot about my book, my cover, the publication, the mythology, I asked for your patience, and I meant it: estoy cumpliendo un sueño muy antiguo. I am fulfilling a very old dream.

My poetry collection, Goddess Songs: Mythological, Devotional & Fantasy Poetry for the Goddesses, is published. For me, publishing this book is a personal celebration, not a sales pitch. I’m not trying to sell anyone anything on Facebook, social media, or here. I just want to share an important stage of my life with the people who know me.

This process is teaching me something I didn’t expect: how to be proud of my work without apologizing for sharing it. To say out loud: yes, I made this; yes, I wrote this book; yes, I’m proud. The little girl who read books and imagined her name on a cover never knew that she’d get here. But she kept dreaming. So you’ll keep seeing news, advances, poems, goddesses, and small victories from the process. Gracias por acompañarme, even from far away.

    How I’m Really Doing

Honestly? I’m super emotional lately. I posted the other day: ¿serán las hormonas o será el trabajo? Is it my hormones or my work? Probably both. Newborn hormones, a big family, a book launch, all of it at once.

At the end of September I ended up in the hospital with bronchitis. I’m on medicine now and feeling a bit better, but it was a reminder to slow down, which is not my strong suit.

But underneath the tiredness, I’m grateful. Protect the little spark inside you, I wrote recently. One day it may become the light that guides you home. I’m holding onto that. There is nothing weak about starting again. It takes courage to believe there is still something worth building. Be gentle with yourself. You are becoming someone you have never been before.

Things I’ve Been Talking About on Facebook

In case you missed the daily chatter, here’s the highlight reel of my brain lately:

    • Poetry, always. I’m quiet, so I write. I write because some feelings become lighter when they have words. My group Alma Poeta keeps growing, and I love sharing poems there. Join us, we are multilingual, have prompts, backgrounds, inspirations, and more.
    • My Cuban roots. Orgullosa de ser cubana, orgullosa de ser latina. Proud of being Cuban, proud of being Latina. A Latina woman can be sweet and strong at the same time.
    • Languages. I reached level 14 in Italian on Duolingo (slowly but surely, I will finish it), and I finished the entire Latin course. Only about 1% of Duolingo users finish a course, apparently. Add me as a friend and I’ll send you a streak freeze.
    • Books. I collect them, especially history books. Change my life: give me a book.
    • Betty la Fea Betty, the ugly one. I’m watching the continuation of the original Colombian telenovela and I need someone to talk about it with. Also vintage TV shows in general.
    • Halloween is coming. The countdown has begun: pumpkins, costumes, spooky nights, poetry, and a little bit of magic.
    • Love, in all its forms. Love is medicine for the heart. Loving is easier than hating. Cuando amamos más, somos más amados. When we love more, we receive more love.

    Thank You for Being Here

My Facebook is also a space for the people who know me outside the internet. I want you to know what I’m working on and why it excites me. I don’t want to keep this moment in silence. I want to remember that I dared to try something I dreamed about since I was a girl, writing a book.

So thank you for reading, for the patience with all the book posts, for the congratulations on Dylan, for laughing at the feeding jokes. Life is intense and beautiful right now, and I’m glad you’re here for it.

Con amor, with love, Eve ♡

  • Aphrodite and the Art of Being Deeply Loved

    Dear Lovestar,

There are some kinds of Love that seem to arrive with a little mystery around them.

You meet someone, and something shifts. A conversation feels strangely familiar. Their presence awakens something inside you that had been sleeping. Perhaps you cannot explain why you are drawn to them, only that you are. There are moments in Love when the heart seems to know something before the mind has found the words.

The ancient Greeks gave this mysterious force a name: Aphrodite.

Aphrodite is often remembered simply as the goddess of Love and beauty, but her presence reaches much further. She represents attraction, desire, sensuality, pleasure, beauty, fertility, and the powerful force that draws one being toward another. She reminds us that Love is not merely an idea we think about. It is something we experience with the whole of ourselves.

And perhaps one of her greatest lessons is this: we are worthy of being deeply loved.

    Not because we are perfect.

Not because we are beautiful according to someone else’s definition.

Not because we have earned Love through sacrifice.

Simply because we are alive, feeling, desiring beings who are capable of giving and receiving Love.

There is a strange tendency in life to teach us how to give Love long before we learn how to receive it.

We learn to care for others. We learn to be helpful, patient, understanding, accommodating, and generous. We learn how to give our time and attention to the people we Love.

But receiving can feel much more vulnerable.

To be deeply loved means allowing another person to see you. Not only the polished parts, but the uncertain parts too. The parts that are afraid. The parts that need reassurance. The parts that sometimes feel ordinary or imperfect.

There is intimacy in being seen and still being cherished.

Aphrodite’s beauty was never meant to be understood only as physical appearance. Beauty, in its ancient and mystical sense, is a force of attraction. It is the quality that makes something magnetic. A sunset can possess it. A song can possess it. A person can possess it through their laughter, their kindness, their confidence, their softness, their mystery, or the way they make another person feel alive.

Beauty is not always something you look at.

Sometimes it is something you feel.

This is why the energy of Aphrodite can be meaningful even to someone who does not believe in gods or goddesses literally. She can be approached as a symbol, an archetype, an ancient story, or a spiritual presence. However we understand her, she invites us to contemplate the sacredness of Love and the many ways it moves through our lives.

She asks us to remember pleasure.

She asks us to remember beauty.

She asks us to remember desire.

And perhaps most importantly, she asks us not to be ashamed of our capacity to Love.

There is nothing weak about wanting affection. There is nothing foolish about wanting romance. There is nothing shameful about wanting to be adored by the person who has captured your heart.

The longing to be loved is deeply human.

But there is another lesson here that is just as important.

Do not abandon yourself in your desire to be chosen.

Aphrodite does not need to chase anyone to prove that she is worthy of Love. Her very presence carries the knowledge of her own worth.

    There is power in that.

When you know your worth, you can desire Love without begging for it. You can open your heart without handing someone else the keys to your entire sense of self. You can welcome devotion without accepting disrespect.

You can say, “Love me deeply,” while also knowing, “I will Love myself deeply, too.”

This is where romantic Love and spiritual Love can meet.

The sacred feminine has often been associated with receptivity, intuition, beauty, creation, and the mysteries of the heart. To receive does not mean to be passive. A flower receives sunlight and transforms it into life. The earth receives rain and brings forth abundance. The sea receives the moon’s pull and answers with tides.

Receiving is its own kind of power.

Perhaps this is why learning to receive Love can be a spiritual practice.

When someone compliments you, receive it.

When someone wants to care for you, allow them to.

When someone tells you that you are beautiful, resist the instinct to dismiss it.

When someone reaches for your hand, take it.

When Love arrives at your door, do not immediately ask whether you deserve it.

Sometimes the heart needs to learn how to open without questioning every blessing.

There will always be Love that is not meant for us. There will be relationships that end, desires that remain unanswered, and people who cannot give us the kind of Love we need.

That is part of being human.

But rejection does not make you unworthy of Love.

Someone’s inability to love you properly is not a measurement of your value.

Your beauty does not disappear because someone failed to recognize it.

Your heart does not become less sacred because someone could not hold it carefully.

Aphrodite’s lesson is not that everyone will desire us.

It is that we should never forget our own capacity to Love, to create beauty, to experience pleasure, and to recognize the sacred within ourselves.

So tonight, look at yourself with softer eyes.

Light a candle if you wish. Wear something that makes you feel beautiful. Put on music that makes your heart stir. Touch your own skin with tenderness. Look into the mirror without searching for flaws.

And remember that somewhere beneath all the expectations placed upon you is the ancient, mysterious part of you that still knows how to Love.

    She has always been there.

Perhaps Aphrodite is not asking you to become someone else.

Perhaps she is simply reminding you to return to yourself.

    To your beauty.

    To your desire.

    To your softness.

    To your power.

And to the quiet truth that you were never required to become perfect before you could be deeply loved.

  • TV Romance: Betty, The Ugly Colombian Heroine Who Took Over the World

TV Romance: Betty, The Ugly Colombian Heroine Who Took Over the World

I am Betty, the ugly one, vintage Colombian telenovela, Inspiration for Ugly Betty.

    Dear Lovestar,

There are telenovelas you watch, and then there are telenovelas that become part of your life. Betty is the most beloved telenovelas icon in the world!

Telenovela literally means TV novel. These are the popular Spanish soap operas. Romance is always the main drama.

Today I talk about the wild romance of Betty, the ugly one and her wealthy boss. This telenovela has a Guinness world record for being the most successful and most adapted telenovela. It inspired the awesome and incredible Mexican La fea más bella (The most beautiful ugly woman), and Uggly Betty, the American show staring America Ferrera.

For millions of people around the world, Yo soy Betty, la fea (I am Betty, the Ugly One) was one of those stories.

When the Colombian telenovela premiered in 1999, nobody could have known just how far Betty’s story would travel. A shy, intelligent young woman with braces, unfashionable clothes, thick glasses, and an appearance that did not fit the conventional image of a television heroine somehow became one of the most beloved women ever to grace the small screen.

And perhaps that is exactly why we loved her.

Betty was not introduced as the beautiful girl who walked into the room and immediately captured everyone’s attention. She was the girl people overlooked, criticized, and made fun of.

She was smart. She was hardworking. She was loyal. She was kind. She had dreams. She had insecurities. She fell in love. She made mistakes. She cried. She laughed. She hoped.

    She was human.

She was ugly. Though in reality, she is a beautiful woman with a horrible hairdo and a weirdness about her.

In a world where television had always been filled with beautiful actresses playing beautiful heroines, Betty arrived looking like the woman sitting next to us at work, the girl we knew from school, the friend who was always there when everyone else needed something.

And somehow, the “ugly” heroine became unforgettable.

That is one of the most touching things about Betty’s enormous legacy.

Beauty has always had a powerful place on television. Telenovelas especially have given us glamorous women, handsome men, extravagant clothes, magnificent homes, dramatic romances, and fairy-tale transformations (Betty had one of these).

But Betty gave us something different.

She allowed millions of women to see a heroine who did not begin with beauty on her side.

She did not need to be the most beautiful woman in the room for her story to matter.

Her value existed before the makeover.

Her intelligence existed before anyone noticed her.

Her heart existed before Armando fell in love with her.

And her dreams existed before she ever walked through the doors of Ecomoda (Ecofashion, the business she works for)

    That distinction is important.

Because Yo soy Betty, la fea was never simply a story about an “ugly” woman becoming beautiful.

It was a story about what happens when the world decides your appearance determines your worth, and you slowly discover that your worth was never dependent on the world’s opinion.

Of course, we loved the transformation. We screamed when Betty finally took off those glasses. We watched the clothes change, the hair change, the confidence grow.

But the woman we had already fallen in love with was Betty before the transformation.

That is why her story traveled so beautifully across borders.

Betty became a global phenomenon. Her story was adapted in countries across Latin America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and beyond. Mexico gave us La Fea Más Bella. The United States gave us Ugly Betty. India gave us Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin. Spain, Germany, Russia, Turkey, the Philippines, Poland, Brazil, China, Greece, South Africa, and many other countries created their own versions of the story.

Different languages. Different cultures. Different actresses.

But the same girl at the heart of it all.

    The girl who was underestimated.

The girl who wanted to be loved.

The girl who wanted to belong.

The girl who had something beautiful inside her long before everyone else could see it.

And perhaps that is why Betty’s influence has lasted for so many years.

She was not a perfect heroine.

She was an ordinary woman placed inside an extraordinary story.

She reminded us that intelligence can be beautiful. Kindness can be beautiful. Loyalty can be beautiful. A good heart can be beautiful. Ambition can be beautiful.

And yes, physical beauty can be beautiful too.

Betty never needed us to reject beauty.

She simply reminded us that beauty is much bigger than a face.

There is something especially sweet about knowing that the original Betty is still with us.

Decades after Ana María Orozco first became Betty, she returned to the role alongside Jorge Enrique Abello as Armando in Betty, la fea: La historia continúa (Betty, the ugly one: the story continues, a continuacion of the original Colombian super telenovela).

    The characters grew older.

    The actors grew older.

    The audience grew older.

    But Betty remained Betty.

And perhaps that is the most beautiful part of all.

A television heroine who was once introduced to us as “la fea” became a woman remembered and loved around the world.

The girl everyone underestimated became the heroine everyone remembered.

Maybe that is why Yo soy Betty, la fea still feels so special.

But, do we love ugly Betty because we hate beautiful women due to our jealousy? Do we feel comfortable around her like mean girl Marcela (Betty’s lover’s fiance) did? What is the world’s addiction with Betty about? Maybe we can feel like Bettys here and there. I certainly have those moments, and now postpartum and aging, I feel like Betty more than ever.

In the original telenovela and the Mexican version (the only ones I’ve watched so far) underneath the comedy, the romance, the fashion, the office drama, the tears and the unforgettable characters was a very simple message:

Sometimes the person the world overlooks is the person we should have been looking at all along.

And after all these years, we are still looking at Betty.

We are still laughing with her.

    Still crying with her.

    Still rooting for her.

    Still loving her.

The world may have given Betty the title of “ugly.”

But millions of viewers gave her something much more important.

    A place in their hearts.

Have you watched any of these telenovelas or any of the global adaptations?

  • Today’s Full Moon in Aries Oracle Messages

    Dear Lovestar,

While heavily pregnant and first month healing from a C section, I did not blog about the full moons.

I am not well yet, in fact I am getting ready to go to the hospital though I do not want to discuss my medical details.

However, it was my plan to return to our moon challenges, and I will work on meditation or write poetry because I am not sure I can finish a ritual today.

    Full Moon message

Under this Full Moon, forgiveness becomes an act of liberation. Something you have carried for too long is ready to leave your heart. You may still remember what happened, but you no longer have to relive the pain each time the memory returns.

Forgiveness does not mean that the wound was acceptable. It does not require you to welcome someone back into your life or pretend that trust was never broken. It means choosing not to give the past another night of your peace.

The Aries Moon asks you to choose yourself, while the Libra Sun reveals where you may have sacrificed your truth to preserve a relationship. Forgive the person who could not love you properly, but also forgive yourself for staying, hoping, returning, or accepting less than your spirit deserved.

Neptune’s presence makes this a deeply emotional and intuitive Full Moon. Tears, vivid dreams, memories, and unexpected realizations may arise. Let them come without allowing every emotion to become an immediate decision. Feel what is true, write it down, and give clarity time to emerge.

The mountains on the card represent everything you have already survived. The glowing Moon reminds you that you can see your journey differently now. You are no longer standing inside the old experience. You have climbed high enough to understand what it taught you.

    Love message

In love, forgiveness begins with releasing the fantasy of what someone could have been. See the relationship as it truly was, including the beauty, the disappointment, and the lessons. You do not need to erase the love to release the pain.

For those healing from separation or betrayal, this Full Moon can close an emotional cycle. The apology you wanted may never arrive in the form you imagined. Your healing can still arrive through your own decision to stop waiting for another person to release you.

For those in relationships, honest feelings need space to be heard. Forgiveness can restore closeness when both people accept responsibility and make meaningful changes. Love cannot heal through silence alone. It heals when truth is received with compassion and followed by action.

For those calling in new love, release the belief that every future relationship will repeat the past. Keep your wisdom, keep your standards, and keep your boundaries. Let fear leave so that love can approach a heart that is protected but still open.

    Career message

In career matters, forgive yourself for opportunities you missed, projects you delayed, and paths that did not succeed. Those experiences were not proof that you lacked talent. They were part of learning how your gifts need to be expressed.

The Aries energy restores courage and personal authority. Stop waiting for universal approval before sharing your work, applying for the opportunity, changing direction, or claiming leadership. Your next step does not need to be perfect. It needs to be honest.

Release resentment toward people who overlooked, underestimated, or copied you. Their choices do not determine the value of your work. Let your energy return to your own vision, where it can create something stronger than revenge ever could.

    Money message

Forgive past financial decisions made from fear, urgency, generosity, or incomplete knowledge. Shame cannot rewrite those choices, but wisdom can change what happens next. Look at your finances clearly without using them as evidence against your worth.

This Full Moon supports releasing emotional patterns connected to money, especially overspending for comfort, undercharging to gain approval, or giving more than you can afford. Financial boundaries are an expression of self-respect.

A healthier cycle begins when you treat your time, labor, and creativity as valuable. Release guilt around receiving. You are allowed to seek stability, ask for fair payment, and build prosperity without apologizing for wanting a secure life.

    Success message

Your success is not being withheld because you made mistakes. The lesson of this Full Moon is that you can begin again without dragging every former version of yourself into the next chapter.

Forgive the woman you were when she did not know what you know now. She survived with the understanding, strength, and resources available to her. Honor her by refusing to punish her forever.

The road ahead may still contain mountains, but you are no longer approaching them as the same woman. You carry sharper discernment, clearer boundaries, and a deeper awareness of what belongs in your life. Let forgiveness become the doorway through which your power returns.

    Release declaration

Tonight, I release the pain that has occupied my heart beyond its season. I forgive without denying what happened. I remember without surrendering my peace. I free myself from resentment, guilt, regret, and the need to receive closure from anyone who cannot give it.

I forgive the woman I once was. I honor the woman I am becoming. I choose relationships that respect me, work that values me, prosperity that supports me, and a future that does not require me to remain wounded.

Under this Full Moon, I return the past to the past. I reclaim my energy, my voice, my hope, and my direction. I am free to move forward.

    Thank you for reading.

We will talk soon and come back for goddess messages.

  • Falling in Love Is Easy. Being in Love Is Not.

Quote come from my book Goddess Songs out in Amazon

    Dear Lovestar,

Falling in love can happen almost before we realize it.

A look. A conversation. A smile that stays in our mind long after the person has left. The excitement of discovering someone new. The chemistry, the desire, the curiosity, the feeling that perhaps we have finally met someone who understands a part of us that has been waiting to be understood.

There is something almost magical about falling in love.

And in many ways, it is easy.

Falling in love is often a feeling that arrives without asking permission. Attraction pulls us closer. Desire awakens. Our imagination fills in the spaces we do not yet know. We see the beautiful things about someone, sometimes more clearly than their imperfections.

    We dream.

    We hope.

    We want.

And because so much of it happens naturally, falling in love can feel effortless.

But then comes the part nobody talks about quite as romantically:

    Being in love.

Because falling in love and being in love are not the same thing.

Falling in love is an experience.

Being in love is a choice.

The first may begin with attraction and desire. The second asks us what we are willing to do with the feelings we have.

Being in love means choosing the person when the butterflies become quieter.

It means choosing tenderness when you are tired.

Choosing communication when it would be easier to shut down.

Choosing honesty when a lie would temporarily protect you.

Choosing forgiveness when resentment feels more satisfying.

Choosing to listen when you desperately want to be heard.

And sometimes, it means choosing each other again after a difficult day, a misunderstanding, a disappointment, or a season when life has become anything but romantic.

This does not mean that love requires tolerating disrespect, betrayal, abuse, or the loss of yourself. Choosing love should never mean abandoning your own dignity or boundaries.

    Real love still needs freedom.

    It still needs reciprocity.

It still needs two people who are willing to participate.

Because love cannot be carried by one heart forever.

There will be days when your partner looks at you and you feel that familiar spark.

There will also be days when you are annoyed by the way they breathe.

There will be days when you feel deeply connected.

And there will be days when you feel like two people trying to find their way back to each other.

That is where the difference becomes visible.

    Falling in love asks:

“How do you make me feel?”

    Being in love asks:

    “How will I treat you?”

Falling in love is often about what awakens inside us.

Being in love is about what we choose to cultivate between us.

This is why long-lasting love can be so beautiful.

Not because it remains permanently untouched by ordinary life, but because two people continue to create something meaningful inside ordinary life.

    The flowers eventually wilt.

The first messages become old conversations.

The nervous excitement of a first date becomes grocery lists, bills, children, responsibilities, exhaustion, routines, and mornings when neither person feels particularly poetic.

And yet, somewhere inside all of that, Love can remain.

Perhaps that is one of Love’s deepest mysteries.

We spend so much of our lives searching for the feeling that makes our hearts race, when sometimes the greater gift is finding someone with whom we are willing to build a life after the racing heart has learned its rhythm.

Falling in love may be the opening of the door.

Being in love is what happens when we keep walking through it.

    Again and again.

    Not because we are trapped.

Not because we are afraid to leave.

But because, freely and consciously, we continue to say:

    I choose you.

    I choose us.

I choose to keep learning you.

I choose to keep loving you.

And perhaps that is where fleeting attraction becomes something deeper.

    Where desire becomes devotion.

    Where chemistry becomes companionship.

Where a beautiful feeling becomes a beautiful life.

Falling in love may happen to us.

But being in love asks us to participate.

And that is why falling in love is easy.

    Being in love is not.

But perhaps that is exactly what makes it worth choosing.

  • Goddess Songs. Poetry, myths, and spells from the goddesses

    Dear Lovestar,

I am excited to share that I am publishing a new poetry collection: Goddess Songs: Mythological, Devotional & Fantasy Poetry for the Goddesses.

This book has been growing quietly in my creative world since 2025. The poems were already written—some as brief flashes of inspiration, some as prayers, some as mythological retellings, and some as imagined conversations with ancient goddesses. What the collection needed was time: editing, organizing, refining, and bringing all of its different voices together into one complete book.

    Now, it is becoming real.

    A Collection of Goddess Poetry

Goddess Songs is a collection of poetry inspired by mythology, spirituality, devotion, feminine power, fantasy, love, darkness, transformation, and imagination.

Within its pages, readers will encounter goddesses who have remained alive in stories, symbols, and human imagination for thousands of years. Aphrodite, Athena, Artemis, Persephone, Hekate, Nyx, Isis, Inanna, Ishtar, Santa Muerte, Venus, and others appear throughout the collection—not only as ancient figures, but as presences of beauty, wisdom, wildness, magic, desire, grief, strength, and change.

The book is divided into four poetic spaces:

    • Mythological Goddess Poetry, inspired by ancient stories, symbols, and retellings.
    • Energetic Goddess Poetry, shaped by intuition, archetypes, presence, and personal spiritual feeling.
    • Devotional Goddess Poetry, including prayers, offerings, invocations, and poems of reverence.
    • Fantasy Goddess Poetry, where mythology meets imagination, fictional worlds, sirens, enchantment, and emotionally charged retellings.

This is not a scholarly mythology book. It is poetry—my creative, personal conversation with goddesses, old stories, feminine mystery, and the worlds that rise when imagination is allowed to speak.

    Poetry Written Over Time

I have been writing these poems since 2025.

Many of them arrived in moments of inspiration: while thinking about mythology, reading about ancient cultures, reflecting on love, exploring spirituality, or simply feeling the voice of a goddess, a myth, or an image move through my imagination. Some poems are only a few lines long. Others unfold into stories. Some are dark, sensual, reverent, fierce, playful, or haunting.

The poems did not need to be created from nothing. They already existed.

    What they needed was editing.

They needed to be read again with fresh eyes. They needed punctuation corrected, capitalization made consistent, titles reviewed, themes organized, repeated ideas considered, and each poem placed in the section where it belonged. They needed to become not just individual posts or private pieces of writing, but a complete collection with a beginning, a structure, and a voice.

That has been the work of this year: honoring the writing enough to shape it into a book.

    I Write Poetry in Topics

One thing I have learned about myself as a poet is that I do not write only one kind of poem.

    I write in topics.

A subject can call to me for months or even years. I may write many pieces around one figure, one feeling, one myth, one spiritual question, or one type of imagery. Instead of forcing every poem into a single mood or style, I allow the topic to open into many directions.

With Goddess Songs, the topic is goddesses.

That one subject contains so much: mythology, ancient history, nature, femininity, romance, rage, magic, death, motherhood, beauty, freedom, fear, justice, devotion, and rebirth. It contains Aphrodite’s love and danger, Artemis’s wildness, Athena’s wisdom, Persephone’s transformation, Hekate’s torchlight, Nyx’s ancient darkness, and Venus’s endless connection to beauty and desire.

Writing by topic gives me room to return again and again to what fascinates me. It allows a collection to form naturally over time. A poem written on one day may be a small spark, but after enough sparks gather around the same subject, they begin to create their own world.

That is how Goddess Songs came into being.

    Ancient Voices, Modern Poetry

I have always felt drawn to ancient stories. The temples may be ruins, the civilizations may be distant, and the original languages may be old—but the emotions inside mythology are still recognizable.

Love. Desire. Jealousy. Grief. Power. Betrayal. Beauty. Freedom. Anger. Loss. Transformation. The search for meaning.

The goddesses in these myths are not simple figures. They can be loving and dangerous, beautiful and terrifying, nurturing and destructive, wise and wild. They are not always easy to understand, and that complexity is part of what makes them so powerful to write about.

In Goddess Songs, I do not try to make every goddess neat, soft, or easy. I let them be ancient, emotional, contradictory, sensual, frightening, protective, mysterious, and alive.

Some poems stay close to myth. Some take creative liberties. Some are devotional. Some are entirely imagined. All of them are written from my love of poetry, mythology, storytelling, and the divine feminine.

    From Poems to a Book

Publishing a poetry book is different from writing one poem at a time.

A poem can be shared quickly. It can live on a graphic, in a post, in a newsletter, in a journal entry, or in a quiet moment when only the writer sees it. But a book asks a deeper question:

What do all of these poems say together?

As I gathered these pieces, I began to see the answer. They were all part of a larger conversation—one between ancient mythology and a modern woman’s voice.

Goddess Songs is a book of poems, but it is also an archive of creative seasons. It holds poems written in devotion, poems written in fascination, poems written through darkness, poems written for beauty, and poems written because a goddess’s story would not leave my mind.

I am proud that I gave these poems the time they needed.
